Join The New Democratic Party of Arizona

The New Democratic Party of America is a democratically ran party made up of individuals that consider freedom the overlying principle of our democratic republic. We strongly believe in social programs aimed at helping the less fortunate, but we also believe that if you are not going to be using or don't believe you are going to be using a social program, that you should not be taxed for the use by individuals who do plan to use these programs. We believe that change is necessary in social programs in order to raise the economic conditions of millions of Americans. We call for reforms in these programs in order to make the system work for everybody, users and non-users. We are supporters of liberalism and the American people. We are Americans and love this great country of ours, but do recognize its short comings. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

John Ashcroft Attempts to Undermine Democracy in Oregon

John Ashcroft and the Department of Justice recently tried to reverse a law in Oregon that allows those whom are terminally ill to euthanize themselves. This law was passed by the citizens in the state through an initiative. The courts struck down Ashcroft's attempt, but at this point it is possible that the case will be presented to the Supreme Court. Click here to read more...

October 13th, Presidential Debates at Gammage Auditorium

Nearly a thousand people joined in a march organized by the October 13 Alliance in Tempe on Wednesday afternoon. The march left from Daley Park and worked its way over to Mill Avenue where the procession filed by Gammage Auditorium – which was securely surrounded by two fences, the first topped with barbed wire. Police escorted the march on bike, foot, horse and motorcycle. As of Wednesday night, only two people were arrested (as of this writing, only one was confirmed by the AzCLU hotline). The AzCLU trained about 50 legal observers to watch over the march, as well as staffed a legal hotline for arrestees to call. Christie and Marla, two members of the street medic team that attended the march, said the worse problem they encountered were thirsty protestors. Watch the Joe Six Pack Party that occurred after the debates at the Mission Palms Hotel, where Sen. John McCain, Governor Napolitano, and all the wealthy campaign donors had a post debate dinner.
